Ok so I need to get an SD card for my Wii since I need space for VC games. All I need to know is which SD cards work for Wii. I heard anything 2 GB or under. Is that true? Can any SD card work or does it have to be labeled ''Wii''? Thanks help is appreciated. Yeah, any card will work.Not every card will be fast, though. An unmarked card is probably 6X, which means it can only do about 1MB/second. 60X ones are common, and I think you can get up to 133 or 200X speed ones, which are probably faster than the Wii can process. Still, if you download a lot of stuff and want fast transfer speeds, I would strongly avoid an SD card of questionable speed. The Wii branded ones are particularly bad.
