I drum in real life. They are fairly realistic in Rock Band so it's fun.

He hated Guitar hero for that same reason, and now he's gotten over it, interested in trying out the drums for the game. :P

So she can play Rock Band and still have fun. Does she intend to ever play real guitar...NO. Does she have fun playing Rock Band, hell yea. I fail to see the problem here.It's not like people go into these games thinking they will be able to play a real guitar afterwards. Also the drums are very realistic (Minus cymbals, but it's in the works), coming from an actual drummer. So I see no harm in those.Insulting? Musicians must be shallow with nothing else to spend their time worrying about then. Some people have no interest in playing instruments, but they do like...video games. Shocker. Wait what's the name of these boards again?
I love to play the Guitar and Keyboard in real life. In the virtual life I would love to be guitarist or play drums :D

I race cars in real life, and I think racing games are offensive to use real race car drivers. I know every professional sports player (NFL, NBA, PGA, etc...) thinks that sports video games are an insult to sports, as well. I was talking to a few doctors the other day and they were telling me how agry they were that people were playing Trauma Center instead of studying to be real doctors. Heck, even Shaun White and Tony Hawk hate video games that insult real Snowboarding and Skateboarding.... oh.. wait...*end sarcasm*Video games are video games. If everyone had your attitude, then there would barely be anything to play.
