Sonic Unleashed Wii trailer

http://wii.ign.com/dor/objects/14242720/sonic-unleashed/videos/suwiitraileroct15.html Now we can actually see the differences between the Wii version and the 360/PS3 version. They are obvious but, honestly, they don't seem to make one version really better than the other. Both versions of the game look equally awesome. Enjoy the trailer. If anything, after this, nobody will post those ugly magazine scans and say ''SEE? IT DOESN'T LOOK GOOD!!!!11!!111 NINTENDO KILLING GAMING AM CONFIRMED!!11111111'' Sonic Unleashed Wii trailer
Looks better than I had hoped. Nice to see a different style of gameplay with nighttime Sonic. Probably won't pick it up, but it may not end up being the bomb people think it's going to be.Sonic Unleashed Wii trailer
So the Sonic parts - which are supposed to be the best part of the game - are still essentially just movies I watch and move left or right while occasionally pressing a button?

The Weresonic parts look more like a game than the daytime parts. :?
That's kind of impressive. Though graphically i'm not all that impressed as this is SEGA. I would expect higher graphics from Sega on the Wii, then I would most developers because they have experience with the hardware. I'm not saying the graphics are unimpressive. i'm just saying it's around what I expected.
I'm interested. Nothing will replace Fragile as my most anticipated Wii game though:P.
It's about time Sega made a console Sonic game that had the old side scroller elements. This one actually looks GOOD! Was it really that difficult for them to decide to go back to the old format? The were-hog stages don't look very compelling, though.
I can't help but ask....what the hell is up with Sonic's arms stretching in Were-Hog form?
ugh another sonic game. I hope this one is good. The sonic games have been doing downhill. Just hope it doesnt end up in the same pit as sonic riders.
As long as they balance the werehog and the hedgehog parts, it should be a good game.
I think it looks decent but it seems like a new Sonic game comes out every year. Sonic Team needs to take their time on developing these titles and work the bugs out of them ahead of time because from what I read in this forum, the last few 3d Sonics have been brutal.
i hope they don't use rock music like they did on secret rings...
i hope they don't use rock music like they did on secret rings...
Why?
i hope they don't use rock music like they did on secret rings...
I agree. I just made a post about 2D sonic games a few minutes ago and I noted how much I hated the rock music because they make it sound really cheesy like they are just trying to be ''cool'' and ''cutting edge''...
Sweet! I'm excited. It looks like a newer version of Adventure and Adventure 2 for dreamcast, those being some of my all time favorite games. :)
Im getting it.
I agree. I just made a post about 2D sonic games a few minutes ago and I noted how much I hated the rock music because they make it sound really cheesy like they are just trying to be ''cool'' and ''cutting edge''...
I agree. Developers need to understand that some of us don't like prefabricated pop rock, mallcore, hip hop and stuff like that. I mean, sure, if I had it my way, games would have soundtracks with Death Metal, Thrash, Black Metal and NWOBHM bands, but I can understand why most people wouldn't be into that. If a game is going to use drums, guitars, keyboards and stuff like that, the music should be as universally appealing as possible, like the awesome music they have on this trailer. If you can't do that, stick with classical instruments.
idc about the graphics as long as they're on par with secret rings. the gamepaly looks pretty boring to me. i want Sonic adventure 3 already
It looks good but due to Sonic's recent record I will wait for reviews.
