From what i hear PES 2008 was really good, and should be good again, and i hear Fifa is decent so i guess wait for a review of some sort
PES 2008 is an awesome game. It supports wifi too. Can't wait for 09 to come out in March.
PES 08 is the best soccer sim...ever! And 09 looks like it will be even better. The new Fifa coming out at the end of the month based its controls off PES 08, so it might be good too.

Actually, so far, Fifa is looking better than PES:LINK But I've only played PES a few times. I own it, but it just wasn't for me.
