1st idea is the basic wii sword fighting game that everyone wants but with a few things i would think would make a fighting game good. 1st make it a 2D game where u can only move forward and back jump and crouch. Make the main veiw of the game behind the person u are playing with like the Wii Sports Resort fighting game but on the button of the screen have the classic 2D fighting game veiw like in mortal kombat or street fighter2nd idea is for input. Most fighting game input is based on a sequence of directional input and then a button or two like for a Shouken in street fighter its forward, down, down-forwad punch and ryu or ken jumps up in the air with a flaming upper cut. On the wii moves should be based on body orentation with the balance board. Like if u wanted to do a shouken on the wii you would move the IR sensor off screen tilt and thrust the wiimote up and stand on one foot and press a punch button to immate the shouken motion. Or even simplier instead of holding back for a few seconds then pressing forward and punch for a move just leaning back then forward or when u wanna do a low attack just crouching(i dont have a balance board and im not sure if it could read a if u were crouching) or instad of pressing a button to kick just remoing one foot from the balance board3rd idea is also an input idea. This one can be implemented on both the wii and DS. a fighting game thats like okami where u have a cerntain amount of ink u use to do and enhance moves. like lets say u do a projectile move u could then hold B and draw a line that would make the path u want the projectile to move in. Then there could be different rules for each projectile like the shorter the line the faster it goes or the more turns in the line the weaker the projectile is. you u can draw a circle to start a special move or draw a happy face to start a different speical move. stuff like thatthese are the kinds of things that come to mind when i see and use the wii hardware i guess thats why im a little disapointed at every games that comes out RAWR untapped Wii Potential

??? RAWR should really be explained. Wait, what is this thread about?
You're right.I think RAWR would make a great game.
I can honestly say that all of those ideas are not good ones The first one would get boring in about 20 mins, the second one is awkward and impossible, and the third one just seems like busywork to do an attack on top of the awkwardness.

It works pretty good as it is, but the balance board can surely add to the gameplay there. [QUOTE=''webbut'']3rd idea is also an input idea. EDIT: Wouldn't you know that I am late. Turns out all points were bad, yet I like your idea. That is what I get, being late for trying to properly format my reply.
i think that potential you are talking about should remain untapped, that kinda game doesnt sound very fun..............oh almost forgot RAWR
RAWR!!!
RAWR!err...I mean I would be for full body motion controls if it included Virtual Reality. Actual enter the game, play tennis against Mario or golf against Tiger, or slay dragons in a VR Dragon Quest.
