Do people realize it was only a rumor? Yes it does sound pretty legit and it would fall in line with Nintendo typical 5 year plan, but we have no confirmation of this console coming any time soon and here we see a lot of people talking about it like it is launching this Christmas. Am I the only one who feels this way?I'm still enjoying the current Wii. And, with the way it is selling with no real evidence of sales slowing down I don't know if Nintendo would want to sell a new console until the hype on this one dies off dramatically... It may be awhile. What's with all the WiiHD talk lately?

It just seems that there has been a lot of chatter about the rumored WiiHD when there really is not much to say about it because nothing at all is confirmed...
Rumour yes but I think it could be a fact. Wii had been released in 2006. 5 years is the life of a console. So in 2011, the next console should come. Also in 2011, HD will be pratically the standard. So it's normal that the next console will be in HD.

And I meant no disrespect, I just meant we already knew all this and maybe we are making to big of a deal of it.
