No way...bioshock may come to the wii in the nea ...
That would be nice. I almost got it before my 360 died.
Bioshock is all about this lush, beautiful looking 1950s environment with some amazing water effects, the Wii just couldn't pull it off.
Anything is possible.....

it could come to the Wii, but it would loose a lot of what makes it good.

If they made it something different it wouldn't be Bioshock.
well we'll have to wait and see if our wii will get bioshock or not,

Sure, more games for Wii is good, but I'll leave BioShock to my PC. For those who wants a BioShock for the Wii: Let's hope that you wont get a BioShock Vengeance. :P
well... sadly the graphics are a big part of the Bioshock experience.....

And you know that for a fact ??? Did you go to Full Sail or something ???
I doubt it will come out for the Wii since it is built on the Unreal Engine 3, which the wii cannot run. Anyway a port to the PS3 seems very likely.
Horrible, horrible, horrible idea. Having played through Bioshock, and the the immersive beauty of its visuals, the idea of seeing it graphically toned down like that is awful.
All of you seem to focus on Bioshock visuals and while they were beautiful when I played the game (and finished it) on my pc I found myself wanting to shoot the plasmids using the wiimote. Imaging the wrench with a wiimote or moving the insects around to wherever you want them. I'm not saying it would work, I'm just saying people shouldn't be too quick to put it down. I mean Metroid Prime 3 still manages to inmerse people with it's ''toned down visuals''.

What it comes down to is that the developers built a ton of imagery that made the world entirely tangible, real, and memorable. And that would have to be greatly re-worked and stripped down for it to run on the Wii. I wouldn't really consider the result worth playing, as it would be a pretty shallow reflection of the initial artistry.
well i'm sticking to my guns and hoping it comes to wii, even if its a prequel or strategy game it'll still be bioshock. i'm not the type of person that likes ports all that much so i would rather have sumthing original or spin-off as long as it ties-in to the original game
BWAHAHAHAHHAHHAHHAHWait, TC's serious :|:lol:Honestly, even if this were true, the massive amount of stuff they'd have to downgrade just for it to run on wii would make the game the inferior version. Regardless of ''teh wiimote controls!''

But at least in my opinion what really impressed me about Bioshock was it's art, take out the real time shaders, put in medium textures, force global lighting and Bioshock still looks beautiful not amazing, but beautiful. Then add in awesome motion control and you have a hit and nothing to be ashamed about.
