I heard somewhere you can save data to your wiimote. Can you? How do you do it?What is an SD card? Thanks, i'm trying to figure out if i can bring some mario kart data to my friends' house tomorrow. Saving Data to controller
its only controls that get saved.like if u use customized controls for a certain game, it memorizes thatit doesn't have save data sorry Saving Data to controller
You can save your Mii's to your Wiimote. That way you can carry them to another friends Wii who might not be able to connect his Wii online. But that's the extent of saving to the controller.
Err, I don't believe you can save control schemes actually. I thought that Mii's were the only thing that work with Wii-remote saving (like PlasmaBeam said). And SD cards are memory cards that can be used with some cell phones, most computers, and the Wii. You can save save data on them, Brawl stuff, and VC games. BUT you can't play the VC games on anyone's Wii, and you can't play them directly off the SD card. You have to re-transfer the VC game back onto the Wii if you want to play it. OR you could re-download the VC game for free, because once you purchase a VC game, the Wii's shop channel will remember it and you can re-download it for free anytime.
It also remembers the game history. As I discovered when I took my wiimote to my friends, played on M%26SOlimp for an hour, came back %26 told me on nintendo channel that I had played on it.
